KRISHNA LOKA
This
game is for ten players. By reciting one Hare Krishna mantra a player
is chosen to be leader. Arrange a row of eight mats in a circle. The
circle represents Krishna loka which is shaped like a lotus flower. The
mats represent petals of the lotus and the players are devotees trying
to enter the Krishna loka planet. The leader begins chanting Hare
Krishna, and the nine children march around the circle of mats without
touching them. Without warning the leader stops the Kirtan,, and all
the players scramble for a mat. The devotee who does not get one falls
down from Krishna loka. He must then chant Hare Krishna to prepare
himself to reenter Krishna-loka. He exchanges places with the child who
was chanting, and the game continues
